ADVERTISEMENT FOR WALK-IN INTERVIEW
FOR THE POST OF PROJECT FELLOW
UNDER UGC-SPONSORED MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECT

A walk-in interview will be conducted for the post of a Project Fellow in the UGC sponsored Major Research Project entitled “A study on the diversity of angiosperms in Barail Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam with special reference to assessment of rare, endangered and threatened (RET) taxa” on 19.01.2012 at 12.00 noon in the Department of Life Science & Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar.

The post is purely on temporary basis with monthly fellowship of Rs. 8000/- (consolidated) and is coterminous with the tenure of the project.

Interested candidates may report the undersigned on 19.01.2012 at 11.00 am with all original documents and testimonials in support of his/her claim regarding educational qualification, experience etc. along with a set of photocopies.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Botany/ Life Science/ Ecology/ Environmental Science/Forestry/ Biodiversity with at least 55% marks at post-graduate level.

Working experience in Taxonomy and Biodiversity will be given preference.
