Applications are invited from qualified individuals for Research Assistant position, sponsored by the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB-DBT) project entitled “Exploration of antibacterial, immune-modulatory and anti-inflammatory activity of certain polyphenolic compounds and role of NSAIDs on activity of antibiotics in Bubaline Mastitis” (NIAB/CP/108/2012).
Research Assistant
M.Sc 15,000/- (consolidated) 18,000/- + 30% HRA after one year
Initial appointment is for 1 year and subjected to renewal up to 3 years
Applicants should have M.Sc with 1 year of hands-on experience in HPLC, Animal cell culture techniques and Microbiological techniques. An understanding of molecular biology, genetics is desired. Good written and oral communication, excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team is highly desired.
Applicants should note that the appointment is purely temporary and subjected to renewal up to three years and there is no Right to Claim for any regular appointment with the University.
