MIET is one of the oldest institute established in Uttar Pradesh in 1997 and has been the pioneer of technical education in the state and known for quality education and it’s results and placements. UPTU (Now MTU, Noida) had conducted survey for awarding Academic Excellence Awards in the year 2008 and 2009 MIET has won the Academic Excellence Award for 2008 and again for 2009 i.e. for both consecutively.
Applications are invited for admission to full time M.Tech. Biotechnology and M.Tech.
Bioinformatics in Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida (Formerly UPTU, Lucknow).
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having degree of M.Sc. in Physical /Chemical / Biological /Veterinary /Agricultural Science or Biotechnology or Bioinformatics or equivalent degree in relevant disciplines or B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical / Bioinformatics /Biochemical / Food/ Agriculture / Environmental or equivalent
degree in relevant discipline or MBBS / B.Pharma. B.V. Sc. / B.D.S. with at least 60% marks (for General /OBC candidates ), and 55% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible for ADMISSION.
Candidates who have appeared for the final exams, and results awaited, can also apply. Upon selection, a provisional degree certificate should be submitted in the college within two months of course commencement.
NOTE: Fellowships/Stipends are available for all candidates having valid GATE score card.
