WALK -IN INTERVIEW (Unreserved under DBT Project)
The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit the outstanding personnel for post of Research Associate in the following DBT funded projects purely on contractual basis. Details of the position are given below:
(DBT) funded Project "Identification of QTLs for fibre quality traits in cotton"
RA.
Ph.D in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Botany / Agricultural Botany
Desirable: Knowledge of breeding methods in crop plants and working knowledge of computer and analysis of data
Terms & Conditions
(i) Age limit: Maximum age 40 years for RA (age relaxation offive years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC) on the date of interview.
(ii) The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to March 2013. or till the termination of the project which-ever is earlier.
(iii) The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
(iv) The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 14th May, 2012 at 10.00 AM. in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
(v) Reporting time: 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 AM.
(vi) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph including of Ph.D award certificate in original or provisional.
(vii) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(viii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
(ix) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
(x) The candidates are required to submit the application in at the time of interview only in the format annexed along with the declaration
(xi) The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI , have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach by 9th May, 2012. If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IAR I, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
(xii) All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
