Walk-in interview has been fixed for engagement of one Research Associate under the ICAR/NAIP funded project on 'Identification of oncolytic viral genes & development of tumour targeted nano-delivery vehicle for cancer therapy in bovines' which is likely to run till March 2013 in the Division of Veterinary Biotechnology, lVRI, Izatnagar. This position is purely on contract basis and there is no provision of absorption/re-employment in lVRII lCAR after termination of the project.

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D/ Master's Degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Animal Sciences/ Animal Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks at post graduate level from a recognized university as regular student. Candidate with master's degree must have atleast 2 years additional research experience.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidate having experience in animal cell culture, handling of laboratory animal would be given preference.

Age Limit: Not more than 40 years for men and 45 years for women. These limits are relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Government rule.

Emoluments: Rs. 23000/- per month consolidated + HRA (as per ICAR norms) for MVSc/MSc and Rs. 24000/- per month consolidated + HRA for PhD

Duration: March 2013 or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

Date & Time of Interview: September 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM in the Division of Veterinary Biotechnology.
