CCMB would like to recruit suitable Research Associates, Project Fellows and Field Assistants purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project titled "Conservation of endangered animals of India: Molecular genetics and reproduction approaches (ConservE)" funded by CSIR. The details are as follows:
Research Associate
Ph.D. in veterinary sciences or Animal sciences or 35 years
Wildlife biology OR 3 years of research, teaching (age relaxation for and design and development experience after M. V.Sc. SC/ST/OBC/PH & with at least one research paper in Science Citation Women candidates Indexed (SCI) journal as per GOI
Job Requirement:
1. Experience in assisted reproductive technologies (such as semen collection, semen cryopreservation, artificial insemination, monitoring of Estrus cycle and pregnancy etc).
2. Fieldwork experience for studies related to sample collection for non-invasive steroid analysis and genetic polymorphism.
Project Fellow -3
M.V.Sc OR M.Sc in Animal sciences or Wildlife biology.
Job Requirement:
1. Experience in assisted reproductive technologies Women candidates (such as semen collection, semen cryopreservation, as per GOI artificial insemination, monitoring of Estrus cycle and instructions) pregnancy etc).
2. Fieldwork experience for studies related to sample collection for non-invasive steroid analysis and genetic polymorphism.
Field assistant –2
B.V.Sc OR M.Sc in Animal sciences or Wildlife biology
Job Requirement:
To assist in field work related to assisted reproductive Women candidates technologies and collection of samples as indicated as per GOI above. instructions
1) CCMB is inviting on-line applications for the project positions in the CSIR XI FYP Project No.BSC0207 titled "Conservation of Endangered Animals of India: Molecular Genetics and Reproduction Approaches (ConservE)" on a purely temporary contract basis.
2) Eligible candidate may apply online at CCMB website www.ccmb.res.in on or before 31.12.2012.
3) Shortlisted candidates for attending the interview will be hosted on CCMB website on 03.01.2013 by 6:00 PM.
4) report for Interview at CCMB, Hyderabad on 07.01.2013 at 08:00
AM along with the printout of the online application for supported by bio-data and one set of photo copies of certificates/marks of educational qualification, age, experience, caste certificate in the prescribed proforma (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates) etc.
5) Shortlisted candidates are advised to bring all the original certificates in proof of their educational qualifications and work experience for verification at the time of interview.
6) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
7) Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of one year and their tenure will be extended further, on the basis of performance till the tenure of project which co-terminates by March 2017. However, the total tenure as Project fellows shall not exceed five years in any circumstances. The total tenure of five years shall be calculated as per the period a candidate spent on one project and/ or different projects taken together in CCMB or any other Lab/Institute of CSIR and Project RA/Project Fellow/Field Assistant or any other designation of equal status.
8) Contract may be terminated any time by giving one month notice by either side.
The applicants/candidates will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization in future against any post in CCMB/CSIR.
