The Young Scientists Congress begins each year on the National Science Day.i.e., 28th February. The XI Chhattisgarh Young Scientists Congress will be organized on 28th February and 1st of March 2013 in Govt. Nagarjun P.G. College of Science, Raipur. Research papers are invited for the congress of young research fellows, Post doctoral fellows, National Associates and faculty members working in any recognized Private, Govt. or Autonomus body. The duration of oral presentation will be 20 minutes followed by discussion. Research papers are invited in the following subjects.
Agriculture Science, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
Behavioral Science.
Bioscience
Botany
Zoology
Physics
Chemistry
Earth Science Including Geology, Geography, Oceanography, Metrology and Geophysics.
Engineering Science and Technology.
Environmental Science and forestry.
Mathematics, Statistics and computer Science.
Medical Science including Pharmacy.
Home Science including Textile, Food and Nutrition and Child Psychology.
Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Biophysics.
Military Science, Defenc Science
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION
Age limit as on 1st March 2013, 32 years for men and 35 years for women.
Two year research experience after Post Graduate Degree in the Science subjects or Bachelor Degree in case of Medical/Engineering/Technology subjects.
Research papers with single authorship.
The work should have been carried out in the state of Chhattisgarh.
Submission of one soft copy of research paper along with the abstract.
Awardees of previously held Chhattisgarh Young Scientists Congress shall not be eligible for participation.
INCENTIVES TO AWARDEES
A certificate to recognize his/her research work
Cash prize of Rs. 11000/-
Single visit in second class sleeper/bus with D.A. Rs. 100/- day, a maximum of two months duration to any Institute, Research Centrex, University or National Laboratory engaged in advanced research in india within two years receiving the award in pursuance his/her research work on which Award has been given.
GUIDLINES FOR PREPARING ABSTRACT & PAPER

1.Abstract must be of minimum 200 words and maximum 300 words.

Subject/ discipline under which it is to be included should be written on top left corner

Title of the abstract should be typed in capital latter's in font size 14.

First paragraph indicating objectives and background details(30-40 words).

Second paragraph indicating materials and methods.

Third paragraph highlighting observations, finding, discussion and importance
Text to be distributed in three parts(single space, font size 12 point)

Name of the author and his/her affiliation Email address. should be typed in 12 font size and bold face.
2.Abstract Must be in the following pattern (in A-4 size, Times New Roman)

3.Entire abstract should be typed on white sheet within space of 25*16 cm length and width.

4.Do not fold the abstract sheet.

5.Abstract must be from mistakes as it will be reproduced as such.

9.Paper should be typed in double space on A4 size white paper

10.Paper must indicate the discipline under which it is to be considered. Certificate and under taking must accompany the paper.

11.Each candidate should sub,it his/her research paper in separate envelop mentioning the discipline and XI Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress 2013 on top of the envelop.

ABOUT CHHATTISGARH COUNCIL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Chhattisgarh Council Of Science And Technology acts as Nodal Of The Department of Science and Technology . This council was Established on 19th January 2001 after the formation of the state. The main abjectives of the council is to promote Science and Technology in the state to optimize Growth and Sustainable development.The council also has a responsibility to increase input of Science and Technology in all such areas Where it can make faster Growth and development.The enhancement of technology capabilities of the state is also ensured by the council. The en devours of the council has changed the face of the state and now the state is moving on the path of modernization in the field of Science and Technology.
ABOUT THE CHHATTISGARH YOUNG SCIENCE CONGRESS
The Chhattisgarh council of Science and Technology has launched a program to promote Young talent of the state in the field of Science and Technology by organizing young scientist Congress every year. The Congress aims at identifying budding Scientists to pursue innovative research ideas.
This is for the first time after the formation of state that oldest College of Science has been given an opportunity to host the college.
Research in the age group 32-35 With a minimum of 2 years research experience after post graduate degree in the Science subjects are or Bachelor;s degree in medical , Engineering subject are invited for active participation.The research paper With single authorship Will be accepted. The research work should have been carried in the state of Chhattisgarh . The young Scientists of the state are awaited With their researches to participate in the Congress.
