Applications on plain paper with bio-data are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Assistant (RA) in DST project (SR/SO/HS-0116/2012) titled ‘Characterization of indigenous parasporins and its action on different tumor cell lines’ under the supervision of Dr R. Shenbagarathai.
Minimum qualifications
JRF: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences) with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with NET-JRF/LS or valid GATE score.
Candidates having experience in Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Animal cell culture will be given preference.
RA: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences) with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with working knowledge in computers.
The upper age limits are 28 and 25 years for JRF and RA respectively as on the day on which the application is made, relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, which is for a maximum period of 3 years.
Fellowships: As per rules of DST.
