Eligible & interested candidates are invited for interview for the purely temporary positions in the following areas under the sponsored projects tenable at CSIR-NBRI:-

Area I: Plant Microbe Interactions

Research Associate

Essential Qualifications Ph.D. in Botany /Plant Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry /Biotechnology.

Senior Project Fellow

Essential Qualifications For Senior Project Fellow: Ist Class M.Sc in Botany /Plant Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry /Biotechnology and should have completed at least 2 years post M.Sc. research experience and one publication in SCI Journal.

Project Fellow/Project Assistant Level II

Essential Qualifications For Project Fellow: M.Sc in Botany /Plant Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry /Biotechnology with CSIR UGC-NET- JRF/LS qualifications.

For P.A. Level II: Ist Class M.Sc in Botany /Plant Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry / Biotechnology.

Desirable for all above positions

Experience in techniques related to plant microbe interactions, plant molecular biology, virology.

Area II: Root Biology

Project Assistant Level III

Essential Qualifications Ist Class M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry /Botany/Bioinformatics with two years post M.Sc. research experience or 1st class M.Tech. in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology.

Desirable Experience in gene cloning, development and analysis of transgenic plants and data analysis using bioinformatics tools.

Project Fellow/Project Assistant Level II

Essential Qualifications For Project Fellow: M.Sc in Biotechnology/Plant Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Environmental Science/ Chemistry or B.Tech in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Sciences/ Agronomy/ Horticulture with CSIR UGC-NET/LS qualifications.

For P.A. Level II: Ist Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Molecular Biology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Environmental Science/ Chemistry or 1st class B.Tech in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology or 1st class M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Sciences/ Agronomy/ Horticulture.

Desirable
Experience in techniques related to plant molecular biology, plant tissue culture and data analysis using bioinformatics tools. Working experience in the area of field experimentation and soil/plant analysis, experience in plant microbe interaction.
