WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following date at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following post on the ad hoc research project entitled “Exploring the potential of Islet like Cell-aggregates generated from mesenchymal stem Cells of human placenta for treating Type1 Diabetes in NOD mice by immunoisolation approach” funded by DBT at this Institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated pay and service tenure are as under:

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology from a recognized University. Those who have already submitted the Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply and can attend the Interview.

Desirable : Candidates with work experience to conduct animal experimentation and their management will be considered for the above post and work with exposure in Cell Biology and Tissue Culture techniques (Stem cells) and with good academic record evidenced from published papers in peer reviewed journals will be preferred.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.22,000/- p.m. + 30% HRA p.m. (fixed) without any other allowances

Tenure: Three years, initially the appointment will be given for 1 year, and it will be extendable depending upon the performance and funds position.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and a set of Photo copies, duly attested, for attending the Walk-in-Interview. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/ M.R.O, specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
