WALK - IN- INTERVIEW FOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Applications in the given proforma are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of two Research Associates in a research project entitled "Rumen microbial diversity in domesticated and wild ruminants and impact of additives on methanogenesis and utilization of poor quality fibrous feeds" under NAIP project funded by ICAR, New Delhi.
Interested candidates for the said positions may send their applications in advance in the prescribed form at to Dr. DN. Kamra, CPT and National Professor, Division of Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar 243 122, so as to reach by May 18, 2013 and attend the walk-in-interview along with original certificates as per schedule. N0 separate interview letter will be issued. The candidates will not be paid any TAIDA and will have to make their own arrangements for stay etc. for attending the interview.

Essential Qualification:
RA-1. Ph.D. in Microbiology /Biotechnology or Master's degree in above subjects with two years research experience as Research Associate or Senior Research Fellow or equivalent.
RA-2: Ph.D. in Animal Nutritional Animal Science or Master's degree in above subjects with two years research experience as Research Associate or Senior Research Fellow.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of working with livestock, rumen microbiology, molecular biology, handling of computers and analytical equipments
Remuneration: Rs. 24000/- p.m. (fixed) + 20% HRA for Ph.D. and Rs. 23000/-(fixed) + 20% HRA for Master's degree.
Duration of Project: Upto March 31,2014
Age Limit: Between 21-40 years and 21-45 years as on the date of interview for male and female candidates, respectively (upper age limit relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidates)
