Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow to work in a research project entitled “Complete chloroplast genome sequencing and transcripts analysis of major edible oil seed crops from India” for 3 years funded by Department of Biotechnology (RGYI), New Delhi, India.
Eligibility: Applicants should have a minimum of Post Graduate Degree (MTech/MSc) in Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology or any other branches of Life Sciences.
Desirable:
1. Sound knowledge in computer programming, bioinformatics and molecular biology
2. Qualified for CSIR NET-JRF /CSIR NET-Lectureship /GATE
Emoluments:
Up to Rs. 16,000 + 10% HRA per month for the first two years and Up to Rs. 18,000 + 10% HRA per month for the third year based on the eligibility criteria prescribed by the DST under DST OM No. A.20020/11/97-IFD dated 31.3.2010.
Registration for Ph D: Selected candidate could register for full time Ph. D at SRM University and the required research facilities will be provided.
