Subject: Appointment-Temporary posts of Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Assistant/ Helpers at Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, ANGRAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad / walk-in-interview – September 26, 2013.
It is proposed to engage Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Assistant / Helpers on temporary basis at Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, ANGRAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad under the RKVY Project on “Seed production and storage technology of soybean at farmers’ level in Andhra Pradesh” which includes survey, seed production, seed quality, seed research and extension activities etc.,
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Place of work : One post (temporary) at Regional Sugarcane & Rice Research Station, Rudrur, Nizamabad district
Duration: From September, 2013 to March, 2014
Qualifications: M.Sc. (Ag.) in Seed Science and Technology, Agronomy, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Plant Physiology, Entomology, Plant pathology, Soil Science & Agriculture Chemistry, Horticulture, Agriculture Extension, Agricultural Economics, Bio technology, Microbiology and Bio-energy, MABM and Environmental Science or relevant experience in the field of seed production
4. Description of :
Conduct of bench mark survey in Adilabad and Nizamabad districts duties
Conduct of seed production and seed research experiments
Conduct of research on seed processing and storage
Conduct of extension activities and training programmes
Conduct of seed quality tests in the laboratory
Preparation of reports
Salary : Rs. 15,000/- (Consolidated pay) per month
