Walk in interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow and Lab Technician under the project “Molecular probing of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates with respect to their resistance pattern and conservation pattern of new drug targets. (MTDT)” as detailed below:
1 Senior Research Fellow 1
Up to 35 Years (For SC/ST/ OBC-NCL Relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules)
MSc (First Class) in any branch of life science with two years Research Experience in microbiology/ biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and handling of infectious agents.
1. Experience as evident by a publication in peer reviewed scientific journal in handling infectious agents including M. tuberculosis
2. Experience in molecular manipulations and literacy on bioinformatics tools.
The work involves culturing of Mtb isolates, DNA isolation, PCR, Sequencing and analyzing the results using standards and bioinformatics tools.
Rs.18000 + HRA @ 20% PM

2 Lab Technician 1
Up to 30 Years (For SC/ST/ OBC-NCL Relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules)
H.S.C. in Science subjects with Two Year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or B. Sc (with Lab subjects) with one year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology/M.Sc in any branch of life science with one year of experience as given in desirables.
1. M. Sc in any branch of life science.
2. At least one year experience in handling infectious microbes like Mycobacterium
tuberculosis at a recognized laboratory, Drug susceptibility testing for M. tuberculosis.
He/She will be responsible for supporting all the laboratory maintenance and research activities.
Consolidated Salary of Rs. 15200/- PM
