WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at this Directorate for following unreserved post under a Short-Term time bound project entitled “Crop Pest Surveillance and Advisory Project (CROPSAP) 2014-15 in Maharashtra”, on purely contract basis for SIX months only. The incumbent shall not have any claim, whatsoever, for regular appointment under ICAR or Government of India or Government of Maharashtra after the termination of the project.

Rs. 23000/- pm (fixed) + HRA (Rs. 24000/- + HRA for Ph.D. candidates)

Essential: MSc (Ag) Entomology or MSc Zoology

Desirable: Knowledge of Soybean insect-pests, biology and damage symptoms; working knowledge of computer on-line system use and application.

Assisting in assessment of pest incidence in soybean and issuing suitable pest advisory on
weekly basis etc.

Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be allowed. Interested candidates may appear for “Walk-in-Interview” on date and time specified as above in the Lecture Hall of this office, along with their application giving full Bio-data with attested copies of testimonials and one recent passport size photograph. Original certificates need to be produced at the time of interview, if selected. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
