A walking interview will be held on 28th  June 2014 at this division for the following posts under the projects mentioned along with the post, detailed qualification and pay etc. of the posts are given below:

Junior Research  Fellow

SBIRI, DBT  "Development of  dual resistance in  Tomato against  virus infection and  insect damage" 

M.Sc. in  Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/  Life sciences (plant) Genetics / Plant  Breeding/ Plant Molecular Biology 

Job requirement include  development of binary constructs,  molecular analysis of transgenic and  study of inheritance pattern through  conventional as well as molecular  means

i) Experience in the  relevant field with  proven published record.
ii) Experience in handling  softwares involved in Life  Sciences research.

Senior Research  Fellow 

"ICAR networking  to develop the  Transgenic  Tomato" 

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/  Biotechnology/ Biochemistry or a related field.

i) Hands on experience in molecular biology, and use of state-of-the art technology employed in plant pathology with proven published record.
ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research.

1. Interested candidate may attend the interview with a coy of Biodata, original and Xerox coies of  qualification etc.
2. Age maximum 35 years on the date of advertisement, relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/women and 3 years for OBC candidates.
3. The positions are purely temporary and shall be terminated on termination of the project.
4. If any information furnished by the candidate is found incorrect, his/her candidature will be rejected without notice and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
