JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)/SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)/ RESEARCH ASSOCIATE(RA)

Qualification & Experience

(Essential)

JRF : 1st class MSc in Neurosciences/Physiology/Zoology/Biochemistry  with NET qualified.

SRF : 1st class MSc in Neurosciences/Physiology/Zoology/Biochemistry and 2 years experience as JRF with biochemical estimation.

RA : Ph.D in Neurosciences/Physiology/Zoology/Biochemistry.

Experience/Training/Skills : (Desirable)

JRF : Experience in biochemical & antioxidant estimation
SRF : Experience in biochemical & antioxidant estimation and ability to record  electrophysiology signal and analyse signal.

RA : Experience in sleep research, antioxidant estimation.

Monthly emoluments

JRF : Rs.16, 000/-

SRF : Rs.18, 000/-
RA : Rs.22, 000/-

Age limit as on 31-12-2014

JRF : 28 years.
SRF : 32 years

RA : 30 years

Duration : Up to 31.03.2015 or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Those who fulfill the above requirements may report for a written test/interview as per the above  schedule along with bio-data and original certificates to prove age, qualification, experience etc. No  TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates reporting after 9.15 a.m will NOT be  considered for selection. Candidates already in service have to produce a No Objection Certificate  from the present employer at the time of interview.

Note : Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted  for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for interview. Marks obtained in the  written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
