Walk-In-Interview for the post of Research Assistant - Micropropagation [01 post] to work at Tissue Culture Section on 21^st January 2015 at 10.00 a.m.

Department/ Section: Tissue Culture Section (Agricultural Sciences and Technology Division)

Compensation(per month) Rs.10,000/- p.m.consolidated. The post is purely on Contract Basis for project period and Co-Terminus with the project.

Starting Emolument:

Approximately Rs.1,20,000/- per annum

Job Profile: Candidate have to work as collection and preparation of explants, preparation of different media, inoculation of meristems,subculturing and production of plantlets. To look after hardening of plantlets in green house. To maintain mother nursery for taking explants.

Candidate Profile & Qualification: M. Sc. in Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology / Botany from any reputed University.

Experience:

Freshers are eligible to apply.
However, preference will be given to those having experience in plant tissue culture (micropropagation), biochemical and molecular analysis.
