Advertisement for the award of Post Doctoral Fellowship in Indo – Finalnd Project
Applications are invited for the award of one Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences on consolidated fellowship of Rs 36,000/- per month under DBT sponsored Indo – Finland project entitled “Health promoting food and feed microalgal omega 3 fatty acids, pigment and bioactive peptides produced on food industry side streams (ALGOMEG)”.
Applicants possessing following qualification should apply on plain paper on the prescribed proforma given as under to Dr. A.K. Sharma, Project Leader, Deptt. Biological Sciences, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar – 263145, US Nagar, UA latest by 6.04.15.
Candidates fulfilling the qualification should appear for the interview on 7th April, 2015 at 11.00 AM in the office of Project Leader. No separate interview letter will be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
Qualifications
Post Doctoral Fellow
Ph.D in Microbiology/Botany/Life science, trained in algal propogation and fatty acid analysis (Essential)
Trained in microalgae production having proof with publications (Desirable)

Qualifications
Junior Research Fellow M.Sc. in microbiology/botany/any branch of life science, NET qualified and has training on microbiological tools especially microalgae (Essential) Experience in handling bacteria and fungi (Desirable)
