Admission for DBT sponsored Integrated M.Sc - Ph.D. programme in the area of Nutrition Biology under AcSIR in CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore - August 2015 Session
Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D. Program on Nutrition Biology sponsored by DBT, under AcSIR in CSIR-CFTRI has been designed to keep an emphasis on the fundamentals of Nutrition and metabolism at molecular as well at the organism level. The focus is on enhancing the research capacity in Nutritional Biology area.This program is jointly conducted by CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, JSS Medical College, Mysore and Manipal Medical College, Manipal.

CSIR-CFTRI is committed to excel in Research & Innovation, Knowledge Dissemination, Technology Transfer and Human Resource Development in the areas of Food Science and Technology through quality attributes to be practiced and implemented at all levels.
NUMBER OF SEATS Total 10 students per year with fellowship of Rs. 5000/- per month for first 2 years, and from third year onwards Rs. 16000 + 20% HRA pm.
Eligibility criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture/ Medicine /Pharmacology.
Minimum marks requirement:
i) Minimum First Class with 65% in B.Sc degree (60% for SC/ ST students) ii) Minimum first class for B.Tech/ B.E/ M.B.B.S/ B.Pharm in Biotechnology/ Food Technology/ Agriculture/ Medicine/ Pharmacology courses.
SELECTION PROCESS Selection for admission to Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D. Program on Nutrition Biology at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore shall be on the basis of aptitude test/ Interview of short listed Candidates and selection is based on ALL INDIA MERIT with applicable reservation rules. Candidates are advised to visit the AcSIR / CSIR-CFTRI websites for dates of test / interview.
