CSIR- Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru a constituent national laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Institute (CSIR), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 1 [One] position of Research Associate and 1 [One] position of Junior Research Fellow on a temporary contractual basis in the research project entitled "Molecular imprinted polymers for removal of pigments from vegetable oils" (GAP-0474), funded by Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi tenable at the Department of Food Protectants and Infestation Control Department (FPIC), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka.
>Essential Qualifications, Emoluments & Age :
1. Research Associate (RA) : Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with good academic records.
Emoluments : Rs.36,000/- (Rupees Thirty Six Thousand only) per month + 20% H.R.A. as per DST-CSIR Rules.
Age Limit :The upper age limit for applying award of Research Associate shall be 35 years (as on 17-06-2015, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Schedule Tribes, Women, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and OBCs.
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): First class M.Sc./ M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with good academic records and should have been qualified in National Eligibility Test conducted by CSIR-UGC or GATE qualified with valid score card.
Emoluments :Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) per month + 20% H.R.A. as per DST-CSIR Rules.
Age Limit :The upper age limit for applying award of JRF shall be 28 years (as on 17-06-2015), which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Schedule Tribes, Women, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and OBCs.
Terms & Conditions:
Candidates eligible for both the posts shall apply separate application.
Suitable candidates as required for the project will be called for an interview.
The engagement of Research Associate/Junior Research Fellow are exclusively for the above mentioned project.
The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis in the project funded by Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for a maximum period of TWO years and is co-terminus with the project, if the project terminates earlier.
The engagement under externally funded project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR-CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
