Applications are invited for the position of one Junior Research Fellow from NET/GATE cleared candidates with at least 55% marks in M.Sc. in life science subjects related to Animal Science, Genetics, Biotechnology etc. for a SERB-DST funded project entitled, "Sex Determination in the garden lizard, Calotes versicolor. Search for Regulators and Modifiers".
The project will last up to February, 2023.
Desirable qualification: Candidate should have a good theoretical knowledge of Vertebrate Developmental Biology, and Molecular Genetics, with hands-on training in Molecular biology techniques used in the experiments.
The upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/STlphysically handicapped/female candidates).
