Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous
Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of
high quality science education and research in the country.
Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record and
relevant work experience for the following position purely on temporary and contractual
basis under the funded project:
Project “Rapid, Low-Cost Deployable Detection of nCov2 using
Synthetic Biology”
Funding Agency Shastri Covid-19 Pandemic Response Grant (SCPRG): Call
for innovative solutions by Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute,
Ministry of Education (MoE)

Minimum Educational
Qualification
M.Sc. in Science / Life Science / Biotechnology /
Biochemistry or equivalent qualification with relevant
specialization with minimum 75% marks / equivalent grade
(CGPA 7.5/10 or greater)
Preference Candidates having experience with plasmid isolation, DNA
cloning, bacterial transformation, fluorescence and
absorbance spectrometry, RNA isolation and rtPCR will be
preferred.
Tenure of the appointment Upto March 31, 2022
Consolidated emoluments Rs. 19,840/- + 24% HRA per month
Age Not more than 28 years as on last date of application.
