Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the DST-SERB funded project entitled "Pre-clinical development of falcipain inhibütors as potent antimalarials" for ONE year only at Department of Biosciences, Jamia Milia Islamia, under the guidance of Dr. Mohammad Abid (Principal Investigator) and Dr. Shailja Singh (Co-PI), Associate Professor, Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, JNU, New Delhi. 

Educational Qualifications: M.Se. (in any area of Chemical sciences/Life-sciences/Bioinformatics or allied subiect with a minimum of S5% aggregate marks (equivalent CGPA). 

Candidates should have cleared UGC/CSIR-NET or any other National level exam conducted by National agencies like DBT/ICMR/DST. 

Candidates having previous laboratory experience and strong back ground in medicinal chemistry/biochemistry/drug discovery will be given preference. 

Research experience in the relevant area, supported by publications would be a plus. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email about the date of interview. 

All the shortlisted candidates will be provided an appropriate link along with date and time for the online interview. 

Candidates from remote areas with no online facility may be accessed through telephonic interaction. 

Fellowship: - As per DST-Science & Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) rules. (Rs. 31,000/pm +HRA (for JRF) or Rs. 35,000/pm + HRA (for SRF)). 

Duration: The appointment of JRF/SRF will be purely on temporary basis for one year only andit is co-terminus with the duration of the Project and will have no financial liability beyond duration of the project. 

Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview.
