CFTRI Mysuru Biochemistry/Food Science Project Openings

CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru, a constituent National Laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), desires to engage qualified candidates as Project Associate Level-I, on purely temporary contractual basisin the project entitled “To formulate grain based nutrient rich functional food for improving gut health status of geriatric people " (FTT020504) for a period of two years at CSIRCFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka. 

The details are as follows: 

1. Project Associate – Level 1(PAS-01) 2 nos. 

Rs.25,000 plus 18% HRA

The minimum essential qualification, experience, etc. for all the above temporary positions are as under: Name of Position & Level No of Position (s) 

Essential Qualification M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Food science and Technology or equivalent M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Biotechnology For Food analysis, testing & R&D Microbial diversity analysis, animal experiments, sequencing data analysis Biochemistry Or Food Science and Technology including Nutrition Microbiology Or Biotechnology 

Desirable Qualification/Experience for PAS-I: Experience in a reputed R&D institute in the areas of Food analysis, Microbial diversity analysis, testing using modern analytical instruments, having computer knowledge in MS-office tools will be preferred.
