CHARUSAT Project Recruitments on DST-PURSE scheme

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Project Associates (levels I and II) under the project entitled ‘Multidisciplinary Approach towards Sustainable Bioconversion of Waste to Value-added Products’ funded by DST, Government of India under DST-PURSE scheme. 

Essential qualification for Project Associates (Level I) (04 positions): Master’s degree in Natural Science (Physical, Chemical and Biological sciences) or in Engg. or Tech or in Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. 

NET-JRF/LS/GATE/GPAT/equivalent national level exams qualified candidates shall be preferred. 

Essential qualification for Project Associates (Level II) (01 position): 

(i) Master’s degree in Natural Science (Physical, Chemical and Biological sciences) or in Engg. or Tech or in Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. NET-JRF/LS/GATE/GPAT/equivalent national level exams qualified candidates shall be preferred. 

(ii) Two years experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services. 

Candidates having experience of handling sophisticated instruments (chromatography, spectroscopic, morphology) may be preferred. 

Fellowship: As per DST norms. 

Project duration: 4 years. 

Age limit: Upto 35 years (upper age) as on the last date of application and as per DST guidelines. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Differently abled candidates.
