Advertisement for engagement of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Research
Associate-I (RA-I) under the DBT funded project at Institute of Nano Science and Technology
Highly motivated and bright candidates are invited for walk-in-Interview for engagement of
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate-I (RA-I) in the research project
funded by Department of Bio-Technology (DBT).
Date of walk-in interview: 12th December, 2024
Reporting time and venue: 10.30 am (online)
Title of the Research Project: Integrated Magneto-Acousto-Dielectrophoresis based
Microfluidics for the sorting of Bovine Spermatozoa
Principal Investigator: Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Scientist-D (Assistant Professor)
Name of the position available:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): - One
Research Associate-I (RA-I): - One
Number of positions available: Two
Essential Qualification for JRF: Master Degree in Biotehnology, Biochemistry, Molecular
Biology, Bio-medical engineering and other related arrears
And
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
or
(b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,DRDO, MHRD,
ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Essential Qualification for RA-I:- Ph.D. degree in Life Science, Biotehnology, Biochemistry,
Molecular Biology, Bio-medical engineering, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and other
related arrears.
Desirable Experience: Experience in aptamer synthesis and /or antigen-antibody reactions, biosensing.
Age limit: for JRF must not be over 28 years as on 12.12.2024 & for RA-I must not be over 35
years as on 12.12.2024, which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of
Government of India.
Fellowship for JRF: Rs. 37,000/- + 18% HRA
Fellowship for RA-I: Rs. 58,000/- + 18% HRA
Duration: Initially for one year and may be extended for another year based on performance of
the candidate.
General Terms and Conditions:
• The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The position is co-terminus
with the project.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials
will be verified only for selected candidate at the time of joining.
