WALK IN INTERVIEW
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at Botanical
Survey of India, Western Regional Centre, Pune, Maharashtra.
Post Code: ‘Junior Project Fellow’ (JPF) under ABG Programme (MOEF &CC)
Project Title: “Development of Arboretum of Indigenous, Threatened and Endemic plants of Western
Ghats through centres of ex-situ conservation”
Tenure of the Project: 3 Years
Fellowship amount: Rs. 24,000/- + HRA
Age: 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government
instructions)
Essential Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. Botany/ or Equivalent degree from a UGC recognized
University.
Interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview on 23rd April 2025 from 10.00AM
onwards at Botanical Survey of India, Western Regional Centre, Pune, Maharashtra.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Those interested to appear for the walk-in-interview are requested to email their photograph, resume and
copies of documents in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experience certificate etc in
single PDF and send to abgwrcpune@gmail.com; abenniamin@bsi.gov.in latest by 20th April 2025.
2. The post is temporary and for 3 years or till the Completion of the project whichever is
earlier.
3. Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all the Certificates in support of
their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled
tribe/OBC etc. The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the
interview. Those who are not producing any valid document as proof of their qualification
will not be considered for walk in interview.
4. The candidates attending the interview should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility
conditions.
5. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
