Project Title: “Bioresource Conservation and Prospection (MMP025302)”
Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in a Mission Mode project, sanctioned by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, entitled “Bioresource Conservation and Prospection (MMP025302)”
The details of post is as follows:
Project Assistant-II (PA-II): 02 Posts
Essential Qualification B.Sc. in any subject/Branch from a recognized university or equivalent
Monthly emoluments (in ₹) : Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
Age limit (in years) : 35 years*
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): 04 Posts
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. Biotechnology/Botany/Biochemistry/Plant Science/Plant Molecular Biology/Plant Physiology from a recognized university or equivalent
Desirable : Experience in analysis of Plant samples
Monthly emoluments (in ₹) : Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions. Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above
Age limit (in years) : 35 years*
Senior – PAT : 02 Posts
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Botany/Plant Science/ Biological Sciences/Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology Desirable: Minimum three publications in SCI journals
Desirable : The selected candidates will work on physiological, biochemical, molecular biology and biotechnology related project activities in CSIR Mission Mode project entitled “Bioresource Conservation and Prospection (MMP025302)”.
Monthly emoluments (in ₹) : Rs. 42,000/-+ HRA
Age limit (in years) : 40 years*
*Relaxation in age / qualification as per CSIR norms. These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 6 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
