A Walk-in Interview will be held at the Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University,
Karaikudi - 630 003 on 23.09.2025 at 10.30 AM for one Project Fellow position under the ITC
LSTC-AU Collaborative Research Project entitled “Analysis of neem leaf extracts from 20 neem
ecotypes, and evaluation of its bio-efficacy”.
The Project Fellow position will be awarded for an
initial period of one year and likely to be extended for one more year.

Funding agency : ITC-Life Science and Technology Centre
Project Coordinator : Dr. K. Balamurugan, Senior Professor & Head,
Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University
Qualification: Post Graduate (PG) degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology or relevant disciplines.
Experience in Microbiology and Molecular Biology techniques is desirable.
Emoluments and Duration: Rs. 12,000/-per month for a period of one year or till the end of the
project period.
Selected candidates will be encouraged to register for Ph. D. in Biotechnology.
