WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The Department of Bioinformatics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024, invites
applications for one (1) position of Project Assistant under the Chief Minister’s Research Grant
(CMRG) sponsored major research project titled “Development of Membrane-Active Peptide
Antibiotics for Nosocomial Wound Infections.”
Eligible and interested candidates are invited
to appear for a walk-in interview scheduled on 8th October 2025 (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM at the
Department of Bioinformatics. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and
mark sheets for verification, along with attested photocopies of all relevant documents, a recent
passport-size photograph, and a detailed CV outlining their academic qualifications and
research experience, if any.
Selected candidates are required to apply for admission to the regular Ph.D. program in
Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, or any other Life Science
discipline offered by Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024.
The appointment is strictly temporary and will automatically end upon the completion
or termination of the research project, without any prior notice or compensation.
The selected candidate will not be entitled to any claim for future appointment or
absorption in the funding agency, as the position is project-specific.
No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be provided for attending the
interview.
