A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 15th October, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Unified Campus of
Bose Institute, Block-EN, Plot No-80, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for one (01) temporary
position of Senior Project Associate for the Intramural Project entitled “Structure-function analysis of
chromosome segregation machinery” under the guidance of Prof. Kaustuv Sanyal, Department of
Biological Sciences. The position is initially for six (06) months and may be renewed subject to
successful assessment.
Details of essential qualifications, age and emoluments are as follows :
Essential Qualification
(i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or
bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a
recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Four years’ experience in Research and Development in
Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology
Organizations and Scientific activities and services
OR
Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma /
MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent
42,000/- + HRA
* Relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per Govt. rules.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in yeast genetics, molecular biology and cell biology. Handling
experience of mice as an animal model will be preferred. Proven records of
research experience is required.

Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from
Secondary onwards and stating the area of research experience with self attested copies of Certificates,
Mark-sheets.
Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials etc. at the time of
interview.
