A walk-in interview will be conducted for the engagement of the Junior Research Fellow
(JRF) in the project “SIT02032SIC - Characterization of mulberry silkworm, Bombyxmori L.
mutants for tolerance to flacherie syndrome through genome editing tools (Phase –II)”at
CSB-Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Berhampore, West Bengal,
India. The interview is scheduled for 28.10.2025. The selection will be based on the
qualifications and performance during the interview process. Please ensure that you meet the
eligibility criteria before attending the interview.
Essential qualifications:
Masters Degree (M.Sc. in
Agriculture/Sericulture/LifeSciences/Zoology/Botany/Genetics
from a UGC- recognized University with 60% marks for
general candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
Desirable qualifications:
PG Diploma in Sericulture.
Preference Candidates having working experience in Mulberry Sericulture
and molecular biology
Salary/Emoluments Rs. 21000/- consolidated pay for the candidates and applicable
HRA
