Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Research Fellow in an
Indo-German collaborative project entitled: “Antibacterial and Anti-biofilm Activity of
the Human Peptide Library against Group B Streptococcus” Funded by the Indo-German
Science and Technology Centre (DST-IGSTC).
Tenure: Initially for one
year or until project completion, whichever is earlier. Extension subject to satisfactory
performance.
Fellowship:
Position 1st & 2nd Year 3rd Year
JRF ₹31,000/- + HRA ₹35,000/- + HRA
Research Fellow ₹25,000/- + HRA ₹27,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology /
Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Infectious Diseases or related discipline with at least
60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
Desirable Qualification: Research experience in molecular biology and microbiology
techniques; experience handling BSL-2 pathogens and/or mammalian cell culture;
NET/GATE qualification (for JRF applicants).

ineligibility.
