IISER-TVR Biochemistry/Molecular Biology JRF Opening

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is one of the premier science education and research institutes established by the Government of India in 2008 to impart high-quality education integrated with outstanding research in modern science.

The Institute invites applicants for a walk-in-interview following positions on contract basis:

Name of Post	Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project	Understanding the role of energy producing pathways on hematopoietic emergence in mouse
Funding agency	Department of Biotechnology
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of Life Sciences/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/other relevant subjects. Scholars selected through a process described through any of the following: Scholars/fellows who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualified. The selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Department and by their agencies such as DBT, DST, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR & ICMR etc.
Desirable Qualifications	The candidate should be highly motivated to do basic research in biology, academically excellent preferentially with working knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, imaging

Tenure of the post	Five months (extendable on the basis of performance)
Age	32 years with 3-5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically disabled as per government norms
