Position: Scientific Administrative Assistant
Salary: @18000/- per month plus 24% HRA
Essential Qualifications : Graduate degree in any discipline.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience of working in a laboratory set up having expertise in handling laboratory equipments, maintaining plant growth facilities in green house and in tissue culture laboratory, maintaining laboratory facilities, keeping official records, Preparation of financial documents, maintenance of inventory, knowledge of GOI purchase procedures.
Duration: The Project will continue till April 2026. The above-mentioned positions are completely temporary and are co-terminus with the project. Appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project.

Position: Junior Research Fellow (One)
Project : Elucidating the roles of a geminivirus susceptible factor in mediating viral pathogenesis.
Salary : - @37000/- per month plus HRA (as per DBT rules and guidelines for JRF).
Essential Qualifications : Master degree in Biological / Life Sciences with at least 60% (or equivalent marks) or equivalent degree in any branch of biological/ Life sciences having qualified CSIR/UGC NET can apply. Final year /semester students of M Sc having qualified CSIR/UGC NET may also apply, subject to the submission of M Sc final marksheet / passing certificate at the time of interview, if shortlisted.
Desirable Qualifications : Research experience in the area of plant virus interactions / protein-protein interactions/plant molecular biology.
Duration: The Project will continue till May 2028. The above-mentioned position is completely temporary and are co-terminus with the project. Appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- 01
Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the ANRF sponsored research project entitled ‘Target mimicry-based diminution of microRNA167 genes’ expression targeting Auxin Response Factors (ARFs)’ for enhanced silique development in Indian Mustard (Brassica juncea L.)’
Duration of the project: Three years (02 Years)
Essential Qualifications : Master degree in any branch of Life Sciences, (Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) with qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE
Desirable: Candidate should have knowledge of plant tissue culture and molecular biology techniques.
Fellowship amount: Rs.37000/- (for first year) + HRA, Appointment will be made purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.
Age limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Woman/Physically Handicapped candidates)
