Nature of Work/Job
Responsibilities:
Oversee multi-omics approaches
(metagenomics, transcriptomics,
proteomics, metabolomics) for
Leptospira surveillance in livestock
and the environment.
Supervise multi-omics data
integration to identify Leptospira
diversity, biomarkers, and risk
factors.
Ensure quality control and
standardization of sample collection, processing, and
analysis.
Lead bioinformatics workflows for
genomic, transcriptomic,
proteomic, and metabolomic
analysis.
Coordinate animal model
experiments (hamsters and mice)
with adherence to ethical
standards.
Collaborate with veterinarians,
epidemiologists, and public health
authorities for real-world
applications.
Guide Project Research Scientists -
I in experiments, data validation,
and troubleshooting.
Prepare scientific reports,
manuscripts, and conference
presentations.
Assist the Principal/CoInvestigator in project tracking,
compliance and administrative
