Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the following post on a purely temporary basis in the Extramural Research Project titled "Expanding antimicrobial resistance research and surveillance activities in the secondary level hospitals" under Principal Investigator Dr Vidhi Jain, Associate Professor Department of Microbiology, AIIMS, Jodhpur as per the details given below: 

Project Research Scientist - II (Non- Medical) 

Essential Oualifications required PhD in Medical Microbiology (preferably)/ Microbiolo gyl Life sciences with focus in the field of AMR or Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post qualification experience in respective field.

Desirable Qualifications

Good communication skills 
Experience with AMR, Bacteriology & mycology EQAS 
Hands-on experience with bacterial & fungal cultures, stock preparation, drug resistance testing and microbroth dilution technique 
Preference will be given to those with prior experience of working in an ICMR Project

Job profile

Overall coordination of project work within AIIMS Jodhpur and two secondary care hospitals. 
Maintenance ofstocks & data, including GFR register 
Preparation of Antibiograms and data analysis 
Daily Teaching ofnursing / lab staff regarding all relevant project activities 
Daily data entries into the ICMR portal 
Organization of workshops and awareness programs 
Preparation of project reports

Monthly salary Rs. 80,400/- (consolidated)
