RECRUITMENT OF SENIOR PROJECT ASSOCIATES AND PROJECT ASSOCIATES IN ZSI 

Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment to the positions of Senior Project Associate (03 posts) and Project Associate–II (06 posts) under the project titled “Documentation of Traditional Knowledge in Wildlife Conservation” at the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI). The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis for a period of 22 months or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The positions will automatically terminate upon conclusion of the project, and no claim for regularization in ZSI shall be entertained. 

Senior Project Associate 

M.Sc. in Natural Sciences (Zoology/Wildlife Science/ Ecology/ Life Sciences/ Anthropology) AND Four years of research experience (after obtaining Master’s degree) in Academic Institutions OR Doctoral Degree in the above subject from recognized institute/ University 

Rs 57000 + HRA 

Project Associate - II 

M.Sc. in Natural Sciences (Zoology/Wildlife Science/ Ecology/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation/Anthropology) from recognized institute/ University AND Two years of research experience (After obtaining Master’s degree) in Academic Institutions 

35000/- + HRA 

Candidates should submit the duly filled-in applications and ‘No Objection Certificate’ from present employer (if employed) to The Director, Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata by Email on or before 18th December 2025.
