Educational Qualifications: Masters Degree in natural or agricultural sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine or equivalent AND Eight years experience in R & D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. OR Doctoral Degree in Computer Science/Data Science/IT or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent AND Four years experience in R & D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. 

Job Description: Development of Indian Tuberculosis Genome Sequencing/Surveillance (InTGS) web portal frontend and backend database/script development in LINUX environment using opensource resources. Integration of web portal with public domain dashboard tools and Application Program Interface (API) tools. Coordination with data compilation team and data analytics for development of dashboards and portals for organization and representation of scientific/clinical data. Desirable: Relevant work experience must be in development of software/database or web portal which are live and being accessed by many users. The candidate must have excellent programming skills in a modern programming language like Python, JAVA, Node.js, PHP etc. The candidate must have experience in design, development and deployment of web portals using HTML5, Javascript/Jquery/React.js, Bootstrap, CSS etc. data base development/administration using technologies like Postgres, MS-SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, (SQL/NoSQL based DB tools) etc. installation/configuration of Apache/Tomcat/Nginx etc. Proficiency in any Web framework applications like Flask, Django, Laravel, etc. In additional knowledge of LINUX system administration and content management tools like Drupal, Joomla etc. will be a plus point. 

The candidates must highlight their research experience with dates and duration in their CV. Applications where experience is not highlighted will be rejected. 

Emoluments: Rs 49,000/- consolidated p.m. plus 27% HRA
