Applications are invited on prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favor of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for these positions in project as given below:
One position of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs 37,000/- + HRA 18% per month in the project entitled “Enriching the rust resistance of wheat by mapping the novel leaf rust and stripe rust resistance from multiple wild progenitor and non-progenitor species” CSS-09 (PC-6436) financed by DBT, New Delhi.
Educational qualifications
i. B.Sc./B.Tech. Biotechnology/Agriculture/B.Sc. Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks.
ii. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics ‘crop plants’/Biochemistry/Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65 % marks
iii. NET/NET-LS/GATE/other National level tests conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies .
Note-I: The candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note II: Candidate without NET will be given an amount of Rs. 25,000+HRA.
Note-III: Desirable Candidates with experience in handling wheat crop, crossing, wheat wide hybridization, Crop genomics handling sequencing and SNP-chip data and experience in handling different software used in bioinformatics analysis.
The Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
