Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at a Fixed Stipend/
Fellowship/ Salary amount of Rs. 37000 (+ 20% HRA) p.m. in an ANRF-funded
Advanced Research Grant (ARG) Program, entitled "Development of a bioelectronics
device for diagnosis of myocardial infarction in iPSC-derived human cardiomyocyte
models using metal halide perovskite nanohybrids" sanctioned up to 3 years (2026-
2029). The post is initially for 1 year and can be extended based on the performance of the
candidate. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The
candidates should possess (Essential qualifications)
Master’s degree (M.Tech / M.E. /
M.Sc. /or equivalent). The candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5/10
CGPA. The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (as Per GoI Rules); All things being equal,
SC/ST/Women/PwD/OBC candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Essential qualifications: Master’s degree (M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. or equivalent in the area
of Biochemical / Biomedical Engineering, Material Science / Engineering, Chemistry,
Biotechnology / Bioengineering, Bioelectronics, Nanotechnology / Science and other
related area as per the requirement of the project with a minimum of 60% marks or
6.5/10 CGPA. A valid National Level
exam, such as GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/DBT/ICMR/DST etc. qualification is required for
appointment as JRF (Rs. 37,000 + HRA), as per ANRF norms.
Desirable qualifications, if any; Candidates with an academic or professional background
in the area of Nanotechnology, Biosensors, Electroanalytical Chemistry, Lab-on-Chip
devices, Health and Technology will be preferred. Candidates should possess strong
scientific writing and communication skills for report preparation and data presentation,
along with proficiency in computer applications, data analysis, and research management
tools.
