Walk-in- Interview for PA-I position in DBT project
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one vacancy of
Project Associate-I in the DBT multi-institutional project entitled “National Network Component- IICB”,
under the supervision of Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist IV, BRIC-NIPGR, New Delhi. The details of position
are as under:
Project Associate-I (One post):
Emolument: ₹25,000/- pm plus HRA, as per norms
Eligibility: Candidates having master’s degree in Natural Sciences/Life sciences/Plantbiology/ Bioinformatics
from a recognized University or equivalent and fulfilling the guidelines as per DST-OM number SR/S9/Z-05/2019
dated July 10, 2020, are eligible to apply. The upper age limit for the above post is 35 years.
The above position is completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship/emolument amount
for the above position is as per DBT/DST norms. The initial appointment will be for one year or till the tenability
of the project whichever is earlier, and tenure of the post can be extended/curtailed based on the assessment of the
candidate's performance and the discretion of the Competent Authority.
BRIC-NIPGR reserves the right to select
the candidate against the above post depending on the qualification and experience of the candidate. Reservation
of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one month
notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular
position of BRIC-NIPGR.
Eligible candidates may appear for a walk-in interview at BRIC-National Institute of Plant Genome Research
(NIPGR), Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067, on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 9:30 AM onwards, along
with the duly filled-in application form in the prescribed format. The duly filled application form along with selfattested copies of the date of birth, educational & experience certificates must be submitted at the time of
registration at BRIC-NIPGR from 09:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on September 18, 2026, at 9:30 AM.
Any candidate
reporting after 10:30 a.m. will not be entertained for walk- in interview. The candidates must ascertain eligibility
before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed. All the candidates are requested to appear
for the interview with a complete biodata in the given format and original degree/experience certificates
and transcripts for verification.
Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to
the disqualification of the candidate(s).
Note: Incomplete applications and those in the wrong format will be
summarily rejected. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview
