Advertisement for Project Associate-I
Applications are invited for the appointment of filling of one Project Associate-I position in a purely time-bound period in a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, and the details are as mentioned below:
Title of the Project Exploration and characterization of Mizoram Bird's Eye Chilli (Capsicum frutescens) germplasm for future breeding prospects.

Salary+HRA ₹31,000 + HRA as per Govt. rules (with NET/GATE qualification)
₹25,000 + HRA as per Govt. rules (without NET/GATE qualification)
Duration of the project Three years
Essential qualifications
➢ M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/Botany/Lifescience related disciplines with a minimum of 60% or more marks in Post Graduate Examination.
Desirable qualifications
➢ Research experience in molecular techniques and agricultural field
experiments. Experience in working with chilli crop.
➢ Willingness to travel across Mizoram.
➢ Fluency in Mizo language.
➢ NET (CSIR/ASRB)/GATE Qualification in Lifescience subjects.
Age Limit The upper Age Limit is 30 Years (relaxable by five years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates, relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates).
