Walk-in-Interview will be held on October 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Seminar Room of Biological
Sciences Department, Unified Academic Campus, Bose Institute, Block - EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80, Salt
Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for the following temporary positions in the ICMR sponsored project entitled “A
pharmacophore-optimized Asp855-targeted novel EGFR modulator (AKJ-17) designed to overcome
resistance and deliver safer, durable cancer therapy” under the guidance of Dr. Kuladip Jana (Principal
Investigator), Department of Biological Sciences. The project is tenable upto 21.09.2027 and may be extended
and the positions are co-terminus with the project.
A. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) (one position)
Essential Qualification:
1. 1st Class Post Graduate degree including the Integrated Post Graduate Degree OR
2. 2nd Class Post Graduate degree including the Integrated Post Graduate Degree with PhD OR
3. For Engineering /IT/CS – 1st Class Graduate Degree of four years.
Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. degree in the related field/subject with experience in the relevant research areas.
Remuneration: Rs.56,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA
Age Limit: Below 35 years. (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates only, as per rule).
B. Project Technical Support-III (two positions)
Essential Qualification:
1. Three years Graduate degree in relevant subject / field plus three years experience OR
2. Post Graduate degree in relevant subject / field OR
3. For Engineering /IT/CS – 1st Class Four Years Graduate Degree plus three years experience.
Desirable Qualification: Qualified in any National Eligibility Test [GATE, NET, ICMR, DBT, DST etc.]
Remuneration: Rs.28,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA
Age Limit: Below 35 years. (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates only, as per rule).

appearing at the interview.
