IISER Mohali invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of
Assistant Professor (Rs.12000-420-18300), Associate Professor (Rs. 16400-450-20,000) and Professor (Rs. 18400-500-22400)
In Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth & Environmental Sciences and Humanities & Social Sciences.
In HSS the major areas for recruitment are History and Philosophy of Science, Sociology and English Communication.
The pay carries all other allowances as admissible to a Central Government employee stationed at Chandigarh/Mohali. The total pay works out to be approximately double the basic pay at this point in time.
Minimum Qualification:
Assistant Professor: PhD with a minimum of three years of post-doctoral or equivalent experience
Associate Professor: PhD with a minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience of which at least three at the level of an assistant professor
Professor: PhD with a minimum of ten years of teaching/research experience of which at least five at the level of an assistant/associate professor.
