SMVDU, technical University under an act of J&K Legislature is a fully residential institution st up pn pattern of IITs. The university has established 12 Academic schools to impact UG, PG and PhD level education.

All post carry central allowances i.e. 47% DA , 10% Campus allowance & campus accommodation. Pay scales to be revised at par with IIT/UGC scales. Last date 30th April 2008.

Specialization

Biotechnology: Biochemical Engineering with specialization in Fermentation Technology.

Applications are invited for faculty positions at following levels:

Professor (18400-500-22400), Associate professor (16400-450-20000), Assistant Professor (12000-420-18300) and lecturer (800-275-13500)

Qualification: 60% or equivalent marks at graduating level for all the above posts. PhD necessary for the Professor/Associate Professor in all the disciplines and for all the posts in Mathematics & Physics.

Experience: 10 years for Professor, 7 years for Associate professor, 3 years for Assistant Professor and PhD or NET for Lecturers expect Engineering/Architecture Degree.
