The application form can be submitted ONLINE through the University Website: http://www.pondiuni.edu.in/.
Send the hard copy (in A4 size bond sheet) along with Bank Chelan for prescribed fee and the copies of required certificates. The Application Form and Information Brochure can also be obtained through post by writing to "The Deputy Registrar (Academic II) Pondicherry University, R.V. Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry - 605014" along with the Bank Chelan towards the cost of the application form. A self-addressed envelope of size 32 x 25 cms with postal stamps worth Rs.40/- (Registered Parcel) must be enclosed, for obtaining the forms by post.The envelope requesting for application form must be superscribed - Request for application form for admission. The application form is also available with the Pondicherry University Staff Cooperative Credit Society at the University Campus on payment of the cost of application form plus Rs.10/- as service charge.Use separate application form or each programme.Application Fee:MCA & MBA – Rs.600/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST/Physically and Visually challenged candidates); other courses – Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/Phycally and Visually challenged candidates). Enclose relevant Certificate in case of SC/ST & Physically Challenged.Mode of Payment: Application fee may be credited at Pondicherry University Account in any of the following banks all over India under core Banking System:1. The Examination at these centers will be held subject to sufficient number of candidates opting for.Traveling Allowance for Interview:II Class Sleeper train/ bus fare will be provided to the candidates called for interview for Ph.D. Programes of the University Departments if the distance traveled is beyond 500 kms. On production of original tickets.Scholarships:Merit Scholarships, Merit cum Means Scholarship (including Hindi and Sanskrit Scholarships) and Freeships are available to deserving students of PG degree programmes. All the Full time scholars admitted to M.Phil and Ph.D. Programmes of the University will be eligible for a fellowship of Rs.3000/- p.m. & Rs.5000/- p.m. respectively subject to final approval by MHRD.Scholarships@Rs.750/- p.m. are also available to all students during first three years of Five year Integrated Master of Sciences Courses.
