Essential Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D. (Science) with 4 years post doctoral experience in the relevant area.
Desirable: Outstanding academic and proven research record with evidence of independent research work, guiding students / research teams in areas of Conservation Biology related to endangered animals using techniques of Assisted Reproduction such as intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization, embryo transfer, somatic cell cloning, cryopreservation of gametes and embryos, etc., with publications in front line journals related to the above research areas.
2. Scientist ‘EI’ [Group IV(3)]: One Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D. (Science) with 4 years post doctoral experience and proven record in the area of Modern Biology, Biochemistry or Biomedicine.
Desirable: Outstanding academic and proven research record with research publications in high profile journals. Individual should have used proteomics strategies extensively in his/her research; should have sound knowledge in advanced mass spectrometry for proteomics applications, protein/peptide separation techniques and basic informatics. Skills and aptitude for applying Proteomics strategies to address both basic biology questions as well as for human diseases, proteomics experience is strongly desired. Knowledge and experience in translational research, good communication skills and ability to interact with research groups will be valuable assets.
3. Scientist ‘C’ [Group IV(2)]: One Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D. in Human Genetics / Molecular Genetics / Clinical Genetics with one year experience OR M.D. with 2 years experience in relevant areas.
Desirable: Outstanding academic record; research experience as evidenced by publications in reputed journals; ability to interact with research groups in related areas; experience in complex disease genetics, statistical analysis and structure-function analysis.
4. Scientist ‘C’ [Group IV(2)]: One Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Ist class MSc / MVSc / PhD (Animal Reproduction and Gynecology / Genetics and Animal Breeding / Animal Biotechnology) with 3 years / 2 years / 1 year experience, respectively, in the relevant area.
Desirable: Outstanding academic record and research experience as evidenced by publications in reputed journals; development of processes and procedures in areas of modern biology; ability to interact with research groups in related areas. Substantial work experience in the area of Conservation Genetics/Molecular Biology / In vitro Fertilization/Cloning, etc. in wild animals.
5. Scientist ‘C’ [Group IV(2)]: One Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Statistics, preferably Biostatistics, with one year experience in analysis of field data related to population dynamics OR Ist class MSc in Statistics with 3 years experience in Biostatistics and analysis of field data related to population dynamics.
Desirable: Outstanding academic record and research experience as evidenced by publications in reputed journals; ability to interact with research groups in related areas. Substantial work experience in analysis of field data related to population dynamics, etc.
6. Scientist ‘C’ [Group IV(2)]: One Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Bioinformatics with one year experience in Genome sequence analysis OR Ist class MSc in Bioinformatics with 3 years experience in Genome sequence analysis.
Desirable: Outstanding academic record and research experience as evidenced by publications in reputed journals; ability to interact with research groups in related areas. Substantial work experience in the area of bioinformatics.
7. Scientist ‘C’ [Group IV(2)]: One Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Ist class MSc / PhD in Biological Sciences / Biotechnology / Animal Biotechnology with 3 years / 1 year experience respectively in the relevant areas such as development of processes and procedures in areas of transgenics including breeding, microarray in Zebra fish / other fishes, etc.
Desirable: Outstanding academic record and research experience as evidenced by publications in reputed journals; development of processes and procedures in areas of transgenics, gene knock out and creation of model for human diseases in Zebra fish; creation of useful mutant depository of Zebra fish; ability to interact with various research groups in general and Fish genetics group in CCMB, in particular.
8. Scientist ‘B’ [Group IV(1)]: One post [Unreserved]
Essential Qualifications: Ist class MSc or BTech in bioinformatics and computer applications, with sound knowledge of Biology and Biochemistry.
Desirable: PhD in Bioinformatics.
9. Scientist ‘B’ [Group IV(1)]: Two Posts
Essential Qualifications: Ist class MSc in Molecular Biology / Wildlife Biology / Biotechnology
Desirable: Experience in the area of Conservation Genetics / Molecular Biology / In vitro Fertilization / Cloning, etc. in wild animals.
Job requirements: To assist senior Scientists in their projects related to the conservation of endangered species.
10. Scientist ‘B’ [Group IV(1)]: One Post [Unreserved]
Essential Qualifications: MTech in Biochemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Nano Technology.
Desirable: Experience in the area of Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nano Technology.
Job requirements: To assist senior Scientists in their projects on Stem Cell Engineering and Stem Cell Therapy for human diseases.
