Sub: Filling up of positions for engagement as Project Assistants under sponsored projects taken up in the Lab. Walk-in-Interview is being conducted for the positions of Project Assistants on a purely temporary basis for sponsored project tenable at IICT. The details of the project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under:

Qualifications : 1st Class in M.Sc.(Biotechnology/Environmental Science)
Job Requirement/Desirable :
Optimization of bio-treatment process of petroleum sludge in the stirred bioreactor with efficient hydrocarbonoclastic microbes. Demonstration of microbial assisted plant-based between clean-up of contaminated sites,water source and ground water
Experience in the area related to the project is an added advantage.

Project "Development of biological methods of odor control in Tanneries"
Qualifications :1st Class in B.Tech. (Biotechnology)
Job Requirement/Desirable :
Characterization of odor compounds in tanneries
(Qualitative and quantitative).
Isolation, screening and characterization of suitable micro organism for the removal of specific odor compounds.
Lab scale and bench scale studies for the odor removal.
Pilot scale studies and optimization of design parameters.
Demonstration of technology at pilot scale levels.
Development of design specifications/protocols , for full scale plant.
